Purpose: The council is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of North Dakota for charitable and educational purposes. The primary focus shall be the support and enhancement of the North Dakota quilt network. |

The State Quilter’s Showcase results are posted! Click HERE for pictures and the 2010 winners list. There were 70 quilts entered in the show (judged and non-judged), and 38 quilts were displayed in the Blue Ribbon Show. Despite the stormy weather, many people attended the show and shopped the 13 vendor booths at the show. |

Our April general meeting was a pivotal point for the Council. Attending members held discussion on the future viability of the organization, and brainstormed ideas on how and what format we might continue the Council. With heavy hearts, the membership of the Council voted to dissolve NDSQC, effective 31 December 2010. Volunteer organizations require the donation of many hours of time and talent. The members have made this organization a professional association, but due to everyday commitments to family, work and other worthy organizations, many feel they cannot continue to make the time commitment to keep NDSQC a professional and viable organization. |
